Nirmala smirked and said, ‘So Masterji is not a Masterji?’ Mushtaque smiled and said, ‘No, this masterji was never a masterji. Now tell me why did you do this?’ Nirmala rolled her eyeballs and said, ‘Did what? What did I do?’ Mushtaque looked at her coolly and said, ‘You know what I am talking about? Tell me why did you kill your husband?’ Nirmala laughed hysterically and said, ‘He did not deserve to live. He wouldn’t die on his own. So I had to kill him.’ Mushtaque ensured what Nirmala was saying was recorded on his phone. Mushtaque then said, ‘And who are you to decide his death?’Nirmala looked at Mushtaque. He could see hatred in her eyes. She said, ‘He was not a human. He was a devil. I devoted my entire life to him and all he did was hurt me. Every day was a punishment for me. He would rip apart my body sexually, he would be drunk and would beat me till I felt I was almost dead. I had prayed for death every day since I got married. There was no way out of this hell hole. My parents never wanted me to go back to them. For them a dead daughter was better than a divorced daughter.’ Saying that she broke down and said with bitterness, ‘I had accepted my life and tolerated all that happened, but…..he killed my Sadhana……my little niece.’ Mushtaque looked at her surprised. Priyanjali had said that Sadhana was Nandini’s friend. Nirmala continued, ‘Sadhana was my niece and was a very good friend of Nandini. She had come over to spend time with us. But, my husband raped her and burnt her in the kitchen. We were all asked to forget this episode because it was a question of the reputation of the house. I could not take it anymore. Justice must be served.’ Nirmala then laughed loudly and said, ‘I am so happy that he is dead.’ Mushtaque then said, ‘So, Nandini is not possessed?’ Nirmala laughed and said, ‘Ofcourse not. She did what I had told her to do. She also wanted revenge. She had lost her best friend.’ Mushtaque said, ‘And Suryaveer? Why did you kill him?’ Nirmala looked bitterly at Mushtaque and said, ‘He too did not deserve to live. Sadhana was raped and Suryaveer, instead of saving her, made a video of the poor child’. Saying that Nirmala sobbed. She cried like a little child. Nirmala then wiped her tears and said, ‘Now Chandraveer will die too. I am so happy.’ Mushtaque said wide eyed, ‘What? This will not happen. Tell me all about it.’ Nirmala laughed and said, ‘It’s too late now.’ Mushtaque said, ‘No, it’s not late. I have already told my guys to reach that place. I know who is your accomplice in these acts. The lady officers are almost here. They will take you to the police station while I and my team will stop your accomplice from killing Chandraveer.’

In no time the women police officers arrived and took Nirmala to the police station.

In the storehouse, Chandraveer was heavily drugged and was tied up in a chair. The person pulled a chair and sat in front of him with an iron rod. The person said, ‘Wake up! I can’t give you such an easy death. You have ruined so many lives. Wake up!’ Chandraveer was unconscious. The person then took a mug of water and splashed it on Chandraveer. Chandraveer woke up with a start. He looked at the person. He was shocked. He said weakly, ‘ Why are you doing this to me?’ The person laughed and said, ‘Why? You left no stone unturned to kill Nihir and ruin Priyamvada’s life. You were there when Sadhana was raped and burnt. You never did anything to save her. You were enjoying the sight, weren’t you?’ Chandraveer said with his eyes half closed, ‘But, why did you hit me so many times on my face.’ Chandraveer’s face was bleeding profusely. The person said, ‘Why? You did not like it?’ The person then said, ‘I too did not like it when you hit Mohan Awasthi. Why did you beat him?’, saying that, Priyanjali took the iron rod and hit Chandraveer again. Chandraveer screamed in pain. Priyanjali said, ‘You cannot see us girls happy, right? Just because I liked being with Mohan Awasthi, you guys were so mean that you both attacked him? How dare you? Now you will know what it is to be hit and hurt. You guys did enough. Now you will rot in hell. Saying that, Priyanjali was about to hit Chandraveer’s head with the iron rod when a bullet came from nowhere and almost touched Priyanjali’s wrist and the iron rod fell. Priyanjali turned around. It was Mushtaque with Abhay and his team. The boys Priyanjali had hired, tried to fight back with the police but in vain. Mushtaque and Abhay’s kicks were enough to knock them off. Priyanjali kept on looking wide eyed. She did not try to run away. After nabbing all the boys, Mushtaque went near Priyanjali and said, ‘Why did you do all these?’ Priyanjali asked bewildered, ‘So, you are not a teacher, are you Mohan?’ Mushtaque said, ‘No. I am Mushtaque Khan from crime branch.’ Priyanjali’s eyes welled up with tears. She said, ‘Oh! So, you could be married, aren’t you?’ Mushtaque nodded, ‘Yes!’. Priyanjali smiled and said, ‘Well, that never matters. I love you and that is all that matters.’ Mushtaque stood there listening. Priyanjali said, ‘How did you know that I was behind all these?’ Mushtaque said, ‘Your lunch box had those sleep inducing tablets. And you never talked to Raagini over the phone. Who were you talking to?’ Priyanjali smiled and said, ‘Sitaara. My little student. Her parents wanted to marry her off. I could not have let anyone ruin her bright future. So, with the help of Nirmala Aunty, I helped Priyamvada and Sitaara escape. They are safe and they are happy. Please don’t bring them back to this hell hole. Please.’ Mushtaque said, ‘ Where are they? It’s my duty to know that they are safe.’ Priyanjali said, ‘I will give you their address. They are happy. I know you will arrest me but please don’t let them know. They will be shattered.’ Mushtaque said, ‘But why did you do this Priyanjali?’ Priyanjali sat down and said, ‘They left me with no choice. They were torturing us. I had borrowed Jayawati Aunty’s ring so that I could mislead police if I was caught. What else could I have done? I could not have let Raagini and Nandini’s future to end. Neither could I let these people ruin Priyamvada’s life. And Suryaveer had to die and Chandraveer must die.’ Priyanjali then screamed , ‘THEY TRIED TO HURT MY MOHAN. THEY TRIED TO HURT YOU. WHAT IF THEY HAD KILLED YOU? NO, CHANDRAVEER MUST ALSO DIE. I WILL KILL HIM,’ saying that Priyanjali wanted to hit Chandraveer but Mushtaque stopped her. She kept of yelling, ‘LET ME GO, LET ME GO’, but Mushtaque held her hand tight. Tired, she gave up and cried. She put her head on Mushtaque’s chest and cried to her heart’s content. Mushtaque did not know what to do. He waited till she calmed down. He gently held her shoulders and said, ‘ See Priyanjali, whatever you did, you did it because of circumstances. But then, this cannot be called right by law. Hence I will have to arrest you. But, all that happened will certainly be understood by law. I have the evidence and I will ensure your pleas are heard and Sadhana gets justice. Priyanjali looked at Mushtaque, smiled and said, ‘ I don’t care. Prison is better than Jagat Nivaas. But can I request you something?’ Mushtaque said, ‘Yes.’ Priyanjali said, ‘Come to see me sometimes.’ Mushtaque nodded and said, ‘ I will.’ Priyanjali smiled and said, ‘You are the most beautiful thing that happened to me. I will always love you wherever I am. For me your happiness will always be my priority. So what if I can never be a part of your life. You will always be an indispensable part of my life and heart.’ Mushtaque listened to all that Priyanjali said while she was being taken away to the prison by the female police officers. Chandraveer was also arrested.

The probe continued. The case was filed in court. Proceedings started. Mushtaque was happy to be home with Saanchi and Mehek. He did come on and off for the court proceedings. Nirmala and Priyanjali were given 5 years of imprisonment. Chandraveer was given 20 years of rigorous imprisonment. Mushtaque’s boss Parvati was super happy because the case was solved. Who knows what new adventure might come Mushtaque’s way………
