Kashish reached the bus stop and looked around. It was almost empty with just one or two tea vendors and few people waiting for the right bus to arrive. It was late and Kashish was scared too. She covered her face and head thoroughly with a scarf and waited for the next bus. She had no clue where she would go. She saw two men staring at her while having tea. She tried to ignore them. If only there were more people in the vicinity, she would have felt safe.

Anurag told Aavish, ‘Let’s go to Kashish’s college. We can find out who her teachers are and then we can find out the names of her friends.’ Aavish replied, ‘Yes Bhai. You are right. Let’s go.’ Aavish then said, ‘Let me get my wallet from my room.’ Anurag replied irritated, ‘You don’t need the wallet now. Come!’ Aavish said, ‘Bhai, I have my driving license there. What if I need to drive. Just two minutes.’ Aavish ran up the stairs and rushed to his room. As he hurried towards his room he heard some noise in the store room at the corner. Aavish told himself, ‘Who could be there in the store room now?’ Aavish could not afford to waste time now checking the store room. He hurried to his room and got his wallet and rushed downstairs. Anurag and Aavish then drove to Kashish’s college.

Mushtaque flashed his Identity card to Sara and asked Inspector Sohum to show Sara the search warrant. Sara went benumb. This was the least she had expected. Her boss had told her to present Anand Makhija as her father. That’s about it. But, this will lead to a fiasco like this…..she had never thought about this even in her wildest dreams. Sohum and his team went inside the house and caught Anand Makhija. Anand Makhija raised an uproar and said, ‘How dare you invade my privacy and arrest me?’ Mushtaque smiled and said, ‘We have arrest warrant for you, Mr. Makhija! You and your partner have been active in this bank scam for some time now. After a lot of chasing I found you. Now, you will tell me the name of your other partner. Not that I don’t know the name, but I will need you to tell me.’ Mushtaque then looked at Sara and said, ‘So, everything seems to be connected. Right?’ Sara said fiercely, ‘You can’t arrest me. You don’t have any female officer with you. More so, I am not going to come with you to the police station at this weird hour.’ Mushtaque smiled and said, ‘Well, we do have a female officer with us.’ Saying that, Mushtaque asked Sohum, ‘Is Sofia here as yet.’ Sohum replied, ‘Yes Sir. She will be here any moment now.’ Sofia said from the door, ‘Sofia reporting Sir!’. Mushtaque looked at Sofia and said, ‘Please make Ms. Sara talk about her plans of being here in this house and telling Mr. Anurag Kothari that this house belongs to her parents and her daughter lives with them. By the way, also find out where her daughter is.’ Sofia came closer to Sara and asked, ‘Will you tell me all of it Ma’am?’ Sara screamed and said, ‘GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE.’ ‘THWACK!! Sofia slapped Sara and said, ‘Tell me Ma’am. All of it! Now!’

Anurag and Aavish reached Kashish’s college. The watchman was dozing at the gate. Anurag patted on the shoulder of the watchman and said, ‘Wake up.’ The watchman woke up startled and said, ‘S….sorry Sir! I don’t know how I fell asleep.’ Aavish said, ‘Give us the phone number of the Dean of this college.’ The watchman said petrified, ‘Please…..please Sir, don’t call the Dean.’ Anurag said, ‘We are not here to trouble you. A student from your college is missing. We need to find her and hence we need to talk to the Dean. Please give us his number or call him from your phone. It’s urgent.’ The watchman hurriedly connected the call to the Dean. The Dean received the call. Anurag said, ‘Sir, my name is Anurag Kothari. My fiancée, Kashish, who is a student of your college is missing. Can you please help me with some information? This is urgent. Her life might be in danger.’ The Dean immediately agreed and called up some teachers of Kashish’s class and arranged a meeting with Anurag and Aavish. In the meeting, they got information about Kashish’s attendance details and the friends she usually hangs out with. Two names popped up Akshit and Nishi. Anurag tried calling Akshit and Nishi. Their phones were unreachable. Just then Mushtaque called Anurag.

Anurag: You called just in time. Unable to find Kashish. Her two friends Akshit and Nishi are also missing. According to the information we received, Kashish was last seen with Akshit in the college campus.

Mushtaque: I am on my way. Will see you in some time. I am sending someone to get all the cctv footage of the college and I have also asked a search team to search the town as well.

Anurag: By the way, did you get a chance to inform Sara about all the mess and why I had to leave suddenly.

Mushtaque (smiling): Well, Sara knows all of it. It was you who did not know a lot of things.

Anurag: I don’t understand.

Mushtaque: Well, I am on my way to make you understand. Now, tell me, was every family member of yours was at home when you reached?

Anurag (thinking): Yes…..

Mushtaque: Now, go home and inform me immediately if anyone is missing.

Anurag: Mushtaque I have no clue what you are talking about?

Mushtaque: Anurag, buddy, trust me. We need to find Kashish. And you won’t find either her friends or her if you don’t go home right now.

Anurag ( To Aavish): ‘ We need to rush home now. Mushtaque was talking strange.’

Aavish: Like?

Anurag: He said we need to see if every family member of ours was in the house and if there is someone missing we need to tell him. Was everyone at home before I came?

Aavish (Thinking for a while): Well I was in office…….

Anurag: Think about it on the way. Now we need to rush.

Aavish thought about it and…. yes Mushtaque was right…..

Nishi woke up. Her head was pounding. She felt something wet on her forehead. She wanted to touch it but she could not. Her hands and feet were tied up. There was a tape on her mouth as well. She had seen the person who had done all of it. And now she knew this person had something to do with the videos of Anurag and may even be involved in Akshit’s murder. The whole idea was to trouble Kashish. Damn, how will she get out now and where is this place. She had no clue.

From his car itself, Mushtaque called Sofia and said, ‘At the break of dawn, leave Shankarnagar and bring Sara to the Kothari Mansion. I am already on my way. Mushtaque then contemplated on all that Sara said. She did not say all of it but she did mention Kashish accidentally during the interrogation. How did the name ‘Kashish’ come in when Sara barely knew Kashish. Mushtaque had seen some numbers on Sara’s phone. Mushtaque asked Abhay to find more information about those numbers. Apparently other than Anand Makhija and Sara were constantly in touch with one person. Mushtaque was waiting for Abhay to confirm the details. Now, Kashish, Nishi and Akshit. Where could these guys be? There was no police complaint as yet of anyone missing. If one of them was found, finding the other two won’t be difficult. But the catch was how to find even one of them. Kashish was last seen with Akshit. Mushtaque had already asked one of his team members to get the cctv footage from Kashish’s college. Meanwhile Mushtaque asked some other team members of his to look in all around the town, right from malls to restaurants to hotels to bus stations, railway stations and even airport. However, the most interesting thing is Anand Makhija’s partner. Anand Makhija has not said a word as yet but the phone numbers will speak for themselves.

Anurag and Aavish reached Kothari mansion. Seeing them Som asked anxiously, ‘Any information?’ Anurag said, ‘No!’ Aavish looked around. Everyone was there in the living room except few. Aavish asked, ‘Where is Naina Chachi?’ Saanya replied, ‘Maa said she was feeling sleepy and hence just went to her room.’ Aavish nodded and then on the pretext of getting some water he left the living room. He went to see if Naina was in her room. As he was about to reach Naina’s room, he again heard some noises in the store room. This cannot be any rodent. There was something in the store room. He looked around. There was no one. He walked to the store room. And there was a lock there. Strange! This store room was never locked before. Also, Aavish failed to notice that Naina sure was missing from the living room but there were other people missing too. Were they too in their rooms?

Meanwhile someone was getting closer to Kashish. Kashish was waiting for a bus anxiously. But someone was eyeing her. If Kashish did not leave in sometime, there could be trouble and there was no way Kashish can be kidnapped now. So either Kashish leaves immediately or she dies. Clutching the gun with the silencer, the person thought. After all he was just an employee. His boss will be coming anytime now.
